Communications

Strategy & branding: I've designed and implemented internal and external communication & branding strategies for several European and International non-profit organisations. From identifying audiences & KPIs, establishing M&E processes and designing branding templates, my efforts have helped reach organisational goals and highlight the voices of the communities served.Press relations: From building press strategies, to mapping press contacts, writing press releases and pitching op-eds, I can take your press relations to the next level. My efforts led to EDRi being featured in over 400 online, print and broadcast media in 11 months including international press such as Reuters, Vice, Politico, the BBC and Bloomberg.Stunts & campaigns: From organising art exhibitions by children on the move and recording the audio stories of children to collaborating on award winning advertising campaigns and spearheading a collection of utopian science fiction stories about people & the planet, I have worked on diverse and innovative creative projects to push for greater social impact. Some examples of these campaigns include:
1. Remumber: An award winning phone app for children to remember their parent's phone numbers. Watch the video.
2. Notfound.org: An internationally viral campaign allowing anyone to replace their website's 404 error pages with posters of missing children
3. Missing children stickers: Tapping into new audiences in the support of missing children through the collection of panini missing children stickers
Project coordination: I have led a broad range of projects, including data collection publication, event communications, accessible and reactive website design, social media campaigns, as well as artistic audio-visual projects such as defining the visual identity of organisations.Content creation & dissemination: I'm a native English speaker with robust content creation and storytelling skills. I have researched, designed, written and proof read a multitude of publications from impact focused Annual Reports and visually appealing data collection publications to press releases and green campaigning handbooks. Time and time again, I've seen and sought to address the lack of resources placed on the dissemination of material after it has been produced. That's why my approach always focuses on both production and dissemination to help ensure your content reaches the right audiences. To do this, I create dissemination packages that support the launch and reach of research and publications via tailored establishing press relations, social media content, newsletters,SEO optimised website content and through leveraging relevant networks.

Trainings

I’m an event speaker, moderator and trainer having been featured on multiple podcasts on topics related to intersectional feminism, storytelling, social justice and the impact of technology. In 2021, I co-founded Work Ally, an initiative that has supported a community of over 10K women and non-binary people through a 7 week training programme to challenge patriarchy and thrive in the workplace. I have co-designed and facilitated this training program, with very positive feedback from the previous 4 cohorts.I've designed and delivered trainings for clients such as the Lebanese Green Party, CAN Europe, Le Wagon Brussels and the Bloom and at events such as the WomenTech conference and the Youth SDG Summit.I have also set up countless initiatives such as in-person trainings, webinars and conferences to enable collaboration between members, peer to peer knowledge sharing and joint campaigning by coalitions. My training methodology involves:
- Defining the goals & objectives of the workshop
- Identifying the target audience & their needs
- Co-creating interactive activities & exercises to engage participants
- Using feminist principles to facilitate the workshop, including guiding discussions, managing group dynamics & encouraging participation
- Evaluating the effectiveness of the workshop, including feedback from participants & analyzing results against the objectives
